Tritium 3.1 · Data and licences
Tritium 3.1 is Tradello’s proprietary data engine. Every morning it reads a network of independent public data feeds, checks every record, joins the records that describe the same project, and grades every fact before it reaches you.
Every morning Tritium reads each of its feeds that is due: public procurement notices, contract awards, planning applications and public registers.
Each record is checked before it is published. A record that fails a check is held back rather than shown, so a bad day at a publisher does not become a bad record in your workspace.
Notices, awards and applications that describe the same project are joined into one project record, so you see the project once, with its history, rather than five separate copies.
Every fact is graded by who is answerable for it — the publisher, or Tradello — so you always know what was stated and what was worked out.
Each feed is read on its own. If one publisher is unavailable on a given morning, every other feed still updates, and that feed simply catches up on its next read. Tradello keeps its last good state rather than going blank, so nothing you are working on disappears because somebody else’s website had a bad day.
The full explanation is on how a Tradello record is built.
Records show when Tritium last read them and what kind of published record each one came from, such as an official notice or a council planning portal. If you ever question a record, tell us which one and we can trace exactly where and when it was read.
Each record keeps a link to the official published notice, which opens once you hold the record. Tradello did not write the notices and does not claim to have published them: if a fact in Tradello and the official notice disagree, the official notice is right.
Work contact details come from records that public bodies and organisations have already published. You can ask for your details to be corrected or removed at request removal or correction — no account is needed. Our notice if your details are in Tradello says what we hold, where it was published, and how long we keep it.
